Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) to transport freight across the United States.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required documentation.
- Ensure cargo is loaded, secured, and balanced according to weight regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Maintain a clean driving record and professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B.
- Clean driving record (MVR) within the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and time management skills.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to work independently and handle long hours on the road.
