Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight and balance guidelines.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and paperwork for all shipments.
- Provide excellent customer service while delivering goods to local and regional destinations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A (or willingness to obtain via company-sponsored training).
- Record: Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Medical: Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Experience: No prior trucking experience required; we train the right candidates.
- Requirements: Must be 21 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or GED.
- Skills: Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
