Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently over designated routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to all FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and in excellent mechanical condition.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of sitting for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to traffic laws.
- Basic math skills for cargo documentation and toll calculations.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays.
