Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper tie-down techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
- Uphold a professional image and company reputation at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screening.
- Clean driving record with no DUIs or major moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and safety training.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
