Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailers (Class A CDL) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections according to DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of duty status (Electronic Logs preferred).
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickup and delivery stops.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience preferred, but entry level candidates with clean driving records will be considered.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be 21 years of age or older (per FMCSA regulations).
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- U.S. Citizenship or valid legal work authorization required.
