Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) on highways and local delivery routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual labor as required.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and daily logbooks.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route changes.
- Uphold Prime Inc.'s high standards of customer service and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum age of 21 years old for interstate driving.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to undergo a drug screen and background check.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
