Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul deliveries
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology and real-time traffic data
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and inspection reports
- Maintain clean and well-functioning vehicles through daily inspections
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of NYC traffic patterns and road regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
