Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) in accordance with federal and state regulations, including FMCSA guidelines.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring cargo security and proper weight distribution.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on or before the promised delivery time.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel to ensure high service standards.
- Keep the truck clean and organized, adhering to company appearance standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A is preferred; we offer training for qualified candidates.
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and valid DOT medical card.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn new routes.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
