Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) to deliver freight safely and on time.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and delivery paperwork in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers and dock personnel.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Load and unload cargo securely using straps and chains.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A) with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years old and meet DOT medical card requirements.
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
- Must be willing to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
