Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safely load and unload cargo using forklifts and pallet jacks, securing freight properly.
- Navigate delivery routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and delays.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the cab and cargo area.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a mandatory drug screen and criminal background check.
