Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks on local and regional routes throughout Massachusetts and New England.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper tie-down techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and route changes.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A) or ability to obtain one immediately.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends if necessary.
