Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) to deliver freight on time and within schedule.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and vehicle readiness.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using proper equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and documentation as required by DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and partners at delivery points.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screening.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills for paperwork.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Willingness to undergo background checks.
