Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) in a safe and professional manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging (E-Logs) and delivery paperwork.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using proper lifting techniques.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
- Navigate various routes and traffic conditions in the Tampa Bay area.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) or willingness to obtain one through our training program.
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor roadside repairs.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
