Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks to deliver cargo to designated destinations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring all cargo is secure and within weight limits.
- Maintain accurate logs and complete all necessary delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate regularly with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Basic English reading and writing proficiency.
- Willingness to undergo paid training program for new drivers.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules and long hours.
