Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers over various road conditions in a safe and timely manner.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently using proper equipment.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork in strict adherence to FMCSA regulations.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight to customers while maintaining a professional image.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Must be at least 21 years old for interstate driving.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and customer service.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.
