Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate logs using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) as required by FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
- Keep the truck and trailer clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or be willing to obtain one (we offer training for the right candidates).
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must have a clean driving record with no more than 3 minor moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and a drug screen.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service oriented attitude.
- Must be willing to submit to a background check.
