Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across Texas and regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections ensuring DOT compliance
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch and clients for timely, efficient deliveries
- Secure and properly load/unload cargo according to safety protocols
- Adapt to changing delivery schedules and route adjustments
- Report maintenance issues and vehicle performance concerns
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean MVR (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR or regional driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
