Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates to job sites across Portland metro area
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Coordinate with site supervisors and dispatch teams for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and local traffic laws
- Manage delivery schedules while ensuring timely arrivals and proper documentation
- Maintain clean vehicles and assist in basic troubleshooting during field operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Proficiency in reading maps and using GPS navigation systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Physical ability to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be 21+ years old with valid DOT medical certificate
