Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport at construction sites and quarries
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and delivery schedules
- Load/unload materials using proper equipment techniques
- Perform minor preventative maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
- Maintain clean vehicle appearance and operational readiness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck or heavy equipment experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Knowledge of Baltimore metro area roadways and traffic patterns
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and time-management skills
