Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates to job sites
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for all transport activities
- Collaborate with site supervisors to coordinate loading/unloading schedules
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
- Navigate efficiently through urban and rural areas while meeting delivery deadlines
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial dump truck driving experience
- Current DOT medical certification and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Proficiency in operating dump truck hydraulic systems and tailgate controls
- Strong knowledge of Sacramento area geography and construction routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
