Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy dump trucks to transport materials (soil, gravel, asphalt) to and from job sites.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload materials efficiently using forklifts or hand tools as required.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere strictly to all DOT and OSHA safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, site supervisors, and team members.
- Ensure the truck cab and cargo area are kept clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with appropriate endorsements.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in commercial dump truck driving.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and road conditions in the Tampa Bay area.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and tight schedules.
