Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and soil to job sites
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT/compliance logs
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and traffic regulations during all operations
- Collaborate with site supervisors to ensure timely deliveries and material accuracy
- Operate vehicle controls including hydraulic dumping mechanisms and trailer coupling
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate vehicle servicing with maintenance team
- Maintain clean vehicle interior and exterior after each shift
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with clean MVR
- Minimum 1 year dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Knowledge of local Raleigh/Wake County routes and construction zones
- Strong spatial awareness and ability to navigate tight job site conditions
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for vehicle operations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
