Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and waste
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and DOT regulations
- Load/unload materials using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors
- Operate in various weather conditions and tight urban environments
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck operation experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of local Jersey City and NJ traffic routes
- Physical ability to climb equipment and handle heavy materials
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
