Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, gravel, and debris to designated sites
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate daily vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies
- Load/unload materials efficiently using proper equipment and techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, site supervisors, and team members
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant work vehicles
- Assist with minor equipment troubleshooting and basic repairs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck operation experience
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check
- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and construction site safety
- Physical ability to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must have reliable transportation to report to daily job sites
