Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials (dirt, gravel, asphalt) to/from job sites
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle conditions
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and DOT compliance records
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and traffic regulations
- Coordinate with site supervisors for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Perform minor maintenance tasks (fluid checks, tire inspections)
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Knowledge of Minneapolis metro area and surrounding regions
- Physical ability to climb equipment and secure loads
- DOT medical certification current and valid
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
