Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates to job sites
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections ensuring compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all transportation activities
- Collaborate with site supervisors to coordinate material deliveries and unloading procedures
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols including load securement and traffic regulations
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
- Support fleet management by maintaining clean vehicles and reporting maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Familiarity with dump truck operations and hydraulic systems
- Strong knowledge of Southern California roadways and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings and occasional overtime
