Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner over long distances (OTR).
- Inspect, maintain, and clean the truck and cargo to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Complete all required logs, delivery receipts, and paperwork accurately and on time.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and any delays.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety policies.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight to maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and pre-trip/post-trip inspection procedures.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
