Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials to job sites
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and document vehicle condition
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and compliance with DOT regulations
- Collaborate with site supervisors to optimize delivery schedules
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for material handling and unloading
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues
- Navigate challenging Alaskan terrain and weather conditions
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years dump truck operation experience
- Clean driving record with no DUI/DWI convictions
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Knowledge of Anchorage-area roadways and construction sites
- Physical ability to handle heavy equipment and variable weather
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early starts
