Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy machinery to transport construction materials, debris, and soil
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each assignment
- Collaborate with site supervisors to coordinate efficient loading/unloading schedules
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain clean, well-maintained equipment
- Support emergency response and stormwater management operations as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years experience operating dump trucks or heavy haul vehicles
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Los Angeles traffic patterns and construction zones
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Experience with GPS navigation and electronic logging systems
