Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy equipment on construction sites and haul routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload materials at job sites while adhering to safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch and site supervisors for efficient route planning
- Maintain clean equipment and report maintenance needs promptly
- Comply with DOT regulations and Michigan state transportation laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with air brake endorsement (Michigan required)
- 2+ years of dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic equipment maintenance knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety-first operations
