Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A dump trucks on various construction, civil, and infrastructure sites.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity and safety compliance.
- Load and unload materials accurately, strictly adhering to weight limits and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean driving record and strictly adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and dispatch regarding route changes, delays, or job site requirements.
- Keep the truck and trailer clean, organized, and maintained in excellent condition.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience driving dump trucks or heavy commercial vehicles.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
