Responsibilities
- Safely transport high-value packages and documents across San Francisco and Bay Area
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and provide real-time updates via mobile app
- Handle specialized deliveries requiring temperature control or security protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Familiarity with San Francisco geography and traffic patterns
- Proficient in smartphone navigation apps (Google Maps, Waze)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Commercial driving license (CDL) preferred but not required
