Responsibilities
- Safely transport time-sensitive packages and documents throughout Columbus metropolitan area using company-provided vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and real-time GPS tracking updates
- Verify recipient signatures and package integrity upon delivery
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency and punctuality
- Provide exceptional customer service during all client interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Columbus streets and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Successful completion of pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation and communication
