Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials across job sites
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize delivery schedules and routes
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and local safety protocols
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks and report mechanical issues promptly
- Maintain clean driving record and uphold company safety standards
- Collaborate with site supervisors for seamless material unloading operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating dump trucks or heavy equipment
- Ability to pass DOT physical and random drug screenings
- Proficiency in digital logbooks and fleet management systems
- Strong knowledge of San Antonio metro area and surrounding regions
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities
