Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy equipment on construction sites
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance
- Transport materials (gravel, asphalt, construction debris) per job requirements
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and safety documentation
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors and team members
- Support load/unload operations with proper equipment handling
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license (Class A or B preferred)
- Ability to obtain CDL-A within 90 days of hire
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment familiarity
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- Must pass background check and MVR review
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
