Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy equipment on construction sites and hauling routes
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for all transported materials
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company policies at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
- Represent Midwest Transport Solutions with professionalism in client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to obtain CDL Class A/B within 90 days of hire (training provided)
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for load calculations and documentation
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
