Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and other heavy equipment at construction sites and material yards
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks
- Transport construction materials (dirt, gravel, asphalt) to designated locations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors
- Load/unload materials using proper techniques and equipment
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized worksite
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license (Class C minimum)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain Class A CDL (provided through training)
- Basic math skills for load calculations and documentation
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable transportation to our San Jose training facility
- No DUI convictions in the past 5 years
