Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy equipment at construction sites and material yards
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks
- Load/unload materials (dirt, gravel, asphalt) using proper techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors
- Operate GPS systems for efficient route navigation
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment certifications
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license (minimum Class C)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain CDL-A (training provided)
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment awareness
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Reliable transportation to Austin, TX worksite
