Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, dirt, or debris
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload materials using proper techniques and equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and job site supervisors
- Maintain clean vehicles and basic preventive maintenance
- Adapt to varying weather conditions and terrain
Qualifications
- No commercial driving experience required
- Valid Class A or B CDL permit (or willingness to obtain)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic mechanical knowledge preferred but not mandatory
