Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and goods to designated sites
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal safety and performance
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere strictly to traffic regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with site supervisors to coordinate loading/unloading schedules efficiently
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks including fluid checks and minor repairs
- Document mileage, deliveries, and any operational incidents accurately
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with ability to obtain CDL-A within 90 days of hire (training provided)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable transportation to depot
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and climb equipment safely
- No prior experience required – we train motivated candidates!
- Must be 21+ years old and possess clean driving record
