Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely and efficiently on various construction and commercial job sites.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload materials such as gravel, dirt, and asphalt with precision and care.
- Maintain a clean driving record and strictly adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, site managers, and crew members to coordinate operations.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately to management.
- Keep the truck and surrounding work area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving abstract.
- Current Department of Transportation (DOT) medical card.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience driving dump trucks or heavy haul vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, traffic laws, and DOT compliance standards.
- Ability to operate a standard manual transmission confidently.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and comprehensive background check.
