Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and haulers on various commercial and residential job sites.
- Load and unload materials (asphalt, sand, gravel) utilizing forklifts and loaders.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure 100% compliance.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, OSHA standards, and company safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and site foremen.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing our brand.
- Assist with minor vehicle maintenance and cleaning duties.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience operating dump trucks.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive DOT drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong knowledge of Charlotte, NC roadways and construction zones.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and work in all weather conditions.
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and overnight shifts when required.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.
