Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and hauling equipment on various job sites in San Antonio and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload materials (gravel, sand, dirt, etc.) efficiently and safely.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic driver's logs (ELD) in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and crew members.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience driving dump trucks or heavy haul vehicles.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical exam and drug screen.
- Strong physical stamina to lift heavy loads and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
