Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy-duty dump trucks on various construction and industrial job sites.
- Load and unload materials (sand, gravel, asphalt) using winches, forklifts, or hand tools.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Follow all DOT regulations, OSHA guidelines, and company traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site foremen regarding schedules and deliveries.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and truck interior at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Willingness to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy loads and working in extreme weather conditions.
- Previous experience driving dump trucks is strongly preferred.
