Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks to transport and dump materials such as asphalt, gravel, sand, or dirt efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation as required by DOT regulations.
- Secure loads properly to prevent shifting during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, site managers, and crew members.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable experience driving dump trucks or heavy equipment.
- Satisfactory MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and load securement.
- Reliable work history and a strong work ethic.
