Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks to transport loose materials such as sand, gravel, dirt, or asphalt to and from construction sites.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (DVOR) and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
- Load and unload materials using forklifts, cranes, or hand tools as required.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience driving dump trucks or similar heavy haul vehicles.
- Ability to pass a drug screen, background check, and physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of truck maintenance and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
