Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely to transport construction materials (dirt, gravel, asphalt)
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors for efficient loading/unloading
- Manage minor on-road repairs and report mechanical issues promptly
- Support weekend/night shifts as required by project timelines
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with airbrakes endorsement (mandatory)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Familiarity with Bay Area construction sites and traffic patterns
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting
- Physical ability to climb in/out of equipment and handle heavy materials
- Strong communication and time-management skills
