Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for construction debris, soil, and aggregate transport
- Pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintenance documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with site supervisors and dispatch for efficient routing
- Maintain clean driving record and logbooks
- Handle minor equipment troubleshooting in the field
- Support emergency response during weather-related disruptions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Previous dump truck operation experience required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform manual labor
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Knowledge of Orange County construction routes
- HAZMAT certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings
