Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials (gravel, asphalt, soil) across job sites
- Conduct daily pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and DOT regulations in all operations
- Collaborate with site supervisors and ground crews for efficient material delivery
- Manage loading/unloading procedures using hydraulic controls
- Document mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery reports
- Maintain clean and compliant equipment per company standards
Qualifications
- Valid Hawaii Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating dump trucks or heavy equipment
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of Honolulu area traffic patterns and construction zones
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions including heat and inclement weather
- Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Basic equipment troubleshooting abilities
