The Role:
As a Dump Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transport of materials to and from job sites. If you have a Class A CDL and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you today.
Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks to transport loose materials (sand, gravel, asphalt, dirt) to designated construction sites.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Secure loads properly to ensure safe transport and prevent damage to cargo.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site managers regarding route updates and delivery times.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and truck bed at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, OSHA safety guidelines, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience driving dump trucks or heavy haul vehicles.
- Current DOT medical card and physical examination.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Familiarity with local Fresno, CA roadways and construction zones.
- Strong mechanical aptitude for basic truck maintenance.
